EpoxyClay All Purpose

EpoxyClay All Purpose

Epoxy Putty for General Repairs

Description

It is a hand-moldable, fast-setting epoxy putty for quick and permanent repair on glass, ceramic, metal, concrete, wood, and various types of plastic. It is an industrial-strength polymer compound used for home repairs or workshop. Each handy stick contains pre-measured portions of activator and base – no measuring or mixing tools required, simply cut, mix, and apply. The consistency (like modeling clay) eliminates drips and runs, molds easily, facilitates adhesion to the substrates and allows the material to be shaped and formed as needed before curing begins.

Directions for use

A. Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and free of oil, grease, corrosion, and dirt to achieve optimum adhesion. Scuffing or sanding the surface prior to cleaning helps ensure a good bond.

B. Mixing

Wear impervious gloves when mixing or handling uncured product.

  1. Twist or cut off required amount with gloved fingers.

  2. Mix by kneading to a uniform color. Use damp fingers for easier mixing and application. If mixing is difficult, warm Pioneer Epoxy Clay All Purpose to a room temperature or slightly above.

  3. Apply to the repair surface within 2 minutes of mixing. Force into cracks or holes. When applying to a damp, wet or slowly leaking area,

  4. work the mixed material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect.

  5. Scrape off excess material before hardening begins preferably with a moistened tool and clean water. Rub with water or a damp cloth prior to hardening for a smooth cured appearance.
